Davis Connect K-12 "No Hunger Zone" House Campaign- There are students and families in Davis County who need our help. We, as Davis Connect Lynx, have a goal to connect with each other and our community. Our Student Body Officers invite you to join this campaign to help families have food on their tables. We will be collecting financial donations to help. Did you know that almost 17,000 students in our district do not know where they will get their next meal? Such food insecurity adversely impacts our students, not only educationally, but also emotionally. To assist these students and their families, the Davis Foundation has set a goal to raise $100,000 to combat food insecurity. For every dollar raised by the Foundation, Davis Hospital and Medical Center, and the Bountiful Food Pantry will match, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000. Your dollar will create two dollars to fight hunger. Davis Connect houses will be competing to raise collaboratively a goal of $4,000 ($1, 000 per House). Be sure to select your Davis Connect House: Forbindelse, Koneski, Sootaga, or Kubatana. Donations big and small are all welcome and appreciated!
