This online course was developed to assist teachers in using class meetings as a part of their classroom management and instructional practice. Class meetings are an effective way to help students learn problem solving, organizational, and social-emotional skills. By the end of this course, participants will be able to formulate class meeting agendas based on current needs, use a range of techniques to facilitate meetings with students, and reflect on the effectiveness of their implementation.
