CDJH is proud to present the musical Newsies! Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action. Please see the cast lists below if you want to see a specific student as there are 2 casts and each cast performs on different nights. All tickets are 8 dollars and performances are at 7pm in the Armory building behind CDJH.
