Bountiful High School Wrestling is proud to share that two of our experienced wrestlers have qualified to wrestle at the 2024 National Wrestling Finals in Fargo, North Dakota! Maeli Howard, a senior in the 170lb. weight class and Ella Gillian, a junior in the 125lb. weight class, will wrestle against the top wrestlers in the nation July 12-15. Maeli started her wrestling career at Bountiful High just over three years ago. She is a 3-time state placer for Bountiful as well as an accomplished track and field athlete. Maeli wrestles for Sanderson Wrestling Academy and Team Utah this summer. She is continuing her wrestling career for Snow College in the fall of 2024. Ella Gillian started her career at Bountiful High in 2023. She placed in the top 4 wrestlers in her weight class in both freestyle and folkstyle in 2024. She also wrestles at Sanderson Wrestling Academy. Ella is also an accomplished lacrosse player, playing midfield and attack for Bountiful and Utah Lynx.
