DHS Save it or Shave it 2026
Davis High SchoolWish Week: Save It or Shave It for Kids Like Brantley During Wish Week, our school is raising funds for Make-A-Wish Utah to help grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses. This year, we are honored to be represented by Brantley, a courageous 12-year-old whose strength, kindness, and determination inspire our entire community. One of our biggest events of the week is Save It or Shave It. Students are paired head-to-head in a friendly fundraising competition, racing to raise the most money to save their hair. The student who raises the least must make a drastic hair change—either shaving their head or cutting their hair short if it is long. While the haircuts may be bold, the cause is even bigger. Every dollar raised goes directly to Make-A-Wish Utah, helping grant wishes for children across the state—kids like Brantley who deserve moments of joy, hope, and unforgettable memories. Names of competitors are: Payson Wright Bon Baker Taylor Hayford Lexie Ban Etten Shaylee Niederhauser Ezra Lloyd Anna Gibby Natalie Ungerman Josef Glaze Jaxon Gallup Mckay Barker Noah Hess Boston Price Graham Meece Donations for this one need to close at noon on Friday.
