Like many teams across the state, the Darts of Davis High School held their first official basketball practice this month. Coaches and players alike were anxious to get underway, and it was immediately apparent in the energy and enthusiasm throughout the gym. The Darts are looking to build upon last year's Region 1 finish and overall record of 17-8 and a State Tournament appearance in the Quarter-Finals. We have a great group of players again this year that are ready to demonstrate their talents on the basketball floor. The expenses for basketball participation are considerable. This year the team will be traveling around the entire state. Wasatch Academy, the 'Elite 8' tournament in American Fork High School, and to Winston-Salem, N.C. December 12-15 to play some of the best teams in the country in East Forsyth and Ronald Reagan High Schools. Your donation will help off-set some of the travel, equipment, team building activities and other supplemental costs for our basketball program.
