Excalibur Wrestling Club is a developmental program that focuses on all age groups and skill levels. Our goal is to help athletes achieve all their wrestling goals. We promote the sport of wrestling to boys and girls by helping young kids learn the basics of the sport while also helping them excel at higher levels. EWC focuses to teach respect, hard work, and above all, how to have fun within this great sport. Fall Season will be resuming October 12, 2022. Please contact a coach closer to that time or watch for information in your Davis School District Peach Jar if you live in Davis School District. Fall Season Information: When: Parents meeting will be October 5 at 6pm (all parents please attend because there will be some great info and question time) followed by a special beginner practice (first practice, please bring all new to wrestling especially, since we will hammer out the fundamentals so we can move forward as a team without repeatedly teaching basic stances and such) and go until the Super State Tournament on February 10-11 (state tournament). o Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays beginning 12 October ¿ Pre K ¿ 4th grade 5:30 to 7:30 ¿ 5th ¿ 9th grade 5:30 to 7:30 ¿ I will make two separate classes by age/ skill if there are enough kids. Also, I start the season on M/W but change to T/Th after football season ends. Where: Northridge High School Wrestling Room. o 2430 N. Hill Field Rd. Layton, UT 84041 Cost: $60 Pay in the Northridge main office or online ¿ Cost includes Excalibur Wrestling Club and a team shirt o $60 per wrestler (we will discuss gear options at the parent meeting) o $100 for two wrestlers of the same immediate family ($50 each after first child) ¿ (i.e. 2 brothers or brother and sister) ¿ USAWrestling Card must also be purchased. This is required for Club insurance. o $45 USA Wrestling Card Unlimited (please purchase in the first few practices) ¿ Good for Out-of-State Tournaments as well as Freestyle and Greco Wrestling in the Spring. ¿ Good to get into many camps/clinics throughout the year. o Register under EXCALIBUR WRESTLING CLUB Coaches: Excalibur Wrestling is headed by John Brubaker.
